Nurul Aqilah Syaqirin graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (Hons.) from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 16 August 2024.
With a passion for criminal litigation, she completed her pupillage at a criminal law firm, gaining experience in drug-related cases. Aqilah is eager to advance her career in criminal law while also exploring other legal areas. She is also dedicated to advocating for women’s rights, raising awareness, and empowering vulnerable communities.
To maintain her mental well-being amid a demanding schedule, Aqilah dedicates time to activities that bring her peace and balance. She believes that hobbies are essential for recharging and finds inspiration in reading, writing, listening to podcasts, and watching Netflix—moments that foster personal reflection and growth.
